When I went to hotel with Wilson, he asked me where I stay, the the guide told us that I will stay at Conrad Hotel Bangkok. Wilson just said, “Wow!”, but I didn’t understand about the word he said. Then I understand the word after enter the hotel. Wow, amazing! Very luxury. They have great room and the restaurant have delicious cuisine! Now I’m learning some Thai language and alphabet (ภาษาไทย). The main reason is because I was confused when visited Phuket in first time. Ms. Ja, our guide, take us to lunch in old restaurant that seems like a warehouse. I just think that me and Wilson will get some problem with our lunch. The restaurant building is “too old” for us and there is no menu in English language.

But after we ordered some food, everything in my mind was totally wrong! They have very very delicious food! (อร่อยมาก!). I still remember the taste until now! They gave us Noodle, omelet, fish ball, plate fish curry, and everything อร่อยมาก!

Prayer room
They have prayer room for Muslim, Christian, and Budha.

Payment Online
Patients can pay the bills online via internet.

Pleas forgive me because I do not posting about medical tourism today, because today we have many things to celebrate in Thailand and Yogyakarta. In Indonesia, I live at Kingdom of Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat (Yogyakarta), now become a province in Indonesia and known as a Special Region of Yogyakarta.

Today is special day for us in Yogyakarta, we did a festivity / feast (kenduri) in this Sunday morning to celebrate the end of Merapi Volcano Eruption, and we pray together for a better future for Yogyakarta.

I call it a coincidence, because today also known as special day in Kingdom of Thailand. People in Thailand celebrate birthday of H.M. King of Thailand.

From Yogyakarta, I wish for good health, long life and a happy birthday to His Majesty King Bhumibol Rama IX of Thailand.

Supatra River House located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River near on the Temple of the dawn. When we entered the restaurant, it more like a traditional Thai house with two-stories. This location was formerly the home of Khunying Supatra Singholaga. She was the youngest daughter of Praya Rachamontri Sga Singholaka and Khunying Boonpan.

Khunying Supatra Singholaga was born at Siriraj, Bangkok-noi district in the province of Thonburi. She was a successful business lady was a leading advocate of women’ s rights in Thai society.

They have a selection of menus for your dining pleasure. The a la carte menu offers a fine selection with dishes priced at around 120-750 baht. During the daytime there is a seafood set menu at 900 baht including tea or coffee and seasonal fruits. For dinner, we would like to recommend our set menus which offer dishes such as shrimp or crab salads, the famous Tom Yum Goong, a seafood basket, pineapple fried rice, and tea or coffee with seasonal fruits. The evening set menus range in price from 900-1,500 baht.

We visited Supatra River House at 21 November 2010, and we also make a wish with our Krathong. That was a memorable night because my first dinner at Thailand is at Supatra River House. And they have menus with great taste.
